Looksmith analyses a photograph of a face — the most sensitive thing an app can ask for. So the design starts from one rule: the free scan never leaves your phone, and a photo reaches a server only when you have bought a deep report that cannot be written without it.

Who processes your data
The operator is the app's author, Mikhail Efanov, at cataha319@gmail.com. Anything stored at all is stored on the app's own server (PocketBase at pb.hub.misha98857.dev), hosted in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The free scan: nothing is collected
When you take or choose a photo for a scan, the app decodes it on the device and measures 478 facial landmarks with a model that ships inside the app. No network call is made — in flight mode or out of it. The photo and the resulting scores stay in this phone's own storage, where only this app can read them. There is no account, no sign-up and no identifier. Delete the app and all of it goes with it.
The deep report: what a purchase sends, and for how long

That account is created in the background with a random address and a random password. It is never linked to your e-mail, your phone or any advertising identifier, because we never ask for any of them. You can delete it, and everything attached to it, from Settings → Delete everything inside the app, or through the form at /looksmith/delete-account.
Your photo is sent to a third party for exactly one purpose and exactly once: the written analysis is produced by OpenAI's vision model, reached through the API gateway ProxyAPI. It is sent as part of a single request and is not used to train any model.
What we never collect
No location, no contacts, no advertising identifier, no browsing history, no behavioural analytics, no crash reporting that carries your data. There is no advertising in Looksmith, and nothing is sold, shared with data brokers or used for profiling. The app asks the operating system for the camera or the photo library only when you tap “Take a photo” or “Choose a photo”.
Who can see what is on the server
Only you. Access is enforced by the server's own rules: a request for somebody else's scan is refused even by someone who knows its address, and a written report is unreadable until the purchase behind it has been verified. Those rules are tested on every release.
Your rights
- See it — everything is in the app.
- Correct it — retake the scan; the old one can be deleted.
- Delete it — Settings → Delete everything removes the scans and photos on this phone and the account, reports and receipts on the server, with no recycle bin and no waiting period.
- Take a copy — write to the address above and we will send an export.
Children
Looksmith is not for children. The app asks you to confirm you are 16 or older before it will look at a photograph. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly hold data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has used it, write to the address above and everything will be deleted.
What Looksmith is not
The scores compare measurements of a photograph against classical canons of facial proportion, and the report is grooming and styling guidance. It is not a medical, dermatological, psychological or cosmetic-surgery opinion, it diagnoses nothing, and it should not be used to decide anything about anybody but yourself.

Бесплатный разбор: не собирается ничего
Когда вы делаете или выбираете фотографию, приложение раскодирует её на устройстве и измеряет 478 точек лица моделью, которая лежит внутри приложения. В сеть при этом не уходит ни одного запроса — ни в режиме полёта, ни вне его. Фотография и полученные оценки остаются в хранилище этого телефона, куда есть доступ только у этого приложения. Ни аккаунта, ни регистрации, ни идентификатора. Удалите приложение — всё уйдёт вместе с ним.

Этот аккаунт создаётся в фоне со случайным адресом и случайным паролем. Он не связан ни с вашей почтой, ни с телефоном, ни с рекламным идентификатором — мы их не спрашиваем. Удалить его и всё, что к нему привязано, можно в приложении: Настройки → Удалить всё, либо через форму на /looksmith/delete-account.
Фотография уходит третьей стороне ровно один раз и ровно с одной целью: текст отчёта пишет зрительная модель OpenAI, доступ к которой идёт через шлюз ProxyAPI. Она передаётся в составе одного запроса и не используется для обучения моделей.
Что не собирается никогда
Ни геолокация, ни контакты, ни рекламный идентификатор, ни история посещений, ни поведенческая аналитика, ни отчёты о сбоях с вашими данными. Рекламы в Looksmith нет, данные не продаются, не передаются брокерам и не используются для профилирования. Доступ к камере или галерее приложение запрашивает у системы только когда вы нажимаете «Сделать фото» или «Выбрать фото».
Ваши права
- Посмотреть — всё есть в приложении.
- Исправить — переснять разбор, старый удалить.
- Удалить — «Настройки → Удалить всё» убирает разборы и фотографии с телефона и аккаунт, отчёты и чеки на сервере, без корзины и без периода ожидания.
- Забрать копию — напишите на адрес выше, вышлем выгрузку.
Дети
Looksmith — не для детей. Прежде чем посмотреть на фотографию, приложение просит подтвердить, что вам есть 16. Оно не адресовано детям, и мы сознательно не храним данные тех, кому нет 16. Если вы считаете, что приложением воспользовался несовершеннолетний, напишите — всё будет удалено.
Чем Looksmith не является
Оценки сравнивают измерения фотографии с классическими канонами пропорций лица, а отчёт — это советы по уходу и стилю. Это не медицинское, не дерматологическое, не психологическое заключение и не консультация пластического хирурга; приложение ничего не диагностирует, и им не следует решать что-либо о ком-то, кроме себя.
